Other Activities
Midweek Church
Although our Sunday Service is important, church life extends well into the week. We place a high value on our midweek house (Discovery) groups that meet across the city. These more intimate gatherings of around 10 people provide a fantastic opportunity to make great friendships, and study and discuss our Christian faith in an informal atmosphere.
Various church groups also have additional midweek meetings that cover bible teaching and prayer.
Families
Our kids are important, and we want them to enjoy their experience of church. Infants under 5 years have their own Sunday Creche, manned by Disclosure-checked staff, allowing parents to remain in the service during the talk. For Primary-aged children, Rockidz makes for an exciting hour of fun and learning during the service, whilst The Attic gives teenagers thier own forum for learning about God.
Building Relationships
There's always something on around church that'll provide friendship-making opportunities. Ladies Coffee on Saturdays, Young Adults get-together on Sundays, football, fundraisers, church-wide picnics or ceilidhs - we enjoy doing life together.
Keeping in touch
Connect - The Rock's bi-monthly newsletter keeps everyone in touch with life at The Rock. There's also a regular update on church news by SMS or email, and the 'What's On' section of rockelim.com
