The school will take up to 25 students, and will be open to applicants from Elim only in the first year. The curriculum will follow the Sword of the Spirit Bible Course, developed by Pastor Colin Dye, in conjunction with Kensington Temple, our sister church in London. How will it work? In total, the 12 modules that make up the curriculum have 114 teaching sessions that need to be completed over 87 evenings in the year. The classroom sessions on Monday and Thursday evenings will be supplemented by homework and self study that will require several hours each week to complete. The Bible School represents a year of serious study, and a commitment to attend the teaching nights and complete the self study elements is a prequisite for all students wishing to enrol. Is there a course accreditation? Students who successfully complete the Sword of the Spirit Bible Course will be given a certificate of completion by Kensington Temple , and achieve official credits towards Elim ministerial training. What will it cost? In order to make the Rock Elim Bible School accessible to all, successful applicants will pay only £150, which will cover all costs and teaching materials. Students will be permitted to pay a £30 enrolment fee, followed by 12 monthly payments of £10, or pay the complete course fees at the point of enrolment. How do I enrol? Applicants for enrolment will be accepted from Sunday 20th June. Forms will be available at both the morning and evening services on the 20th for those wishing to be considered for the course. Whilst we would like to accept every application for the Bible School, the number of places available are limited. Some correspondence courses may be available for those unable to attend teaching sessions in person. For more information please contact the School Director or the School Administrator by email.
